Located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the villa owners Himanshu Rathore and his wife owe their passion to serve their guests with love and care to their father, Late Brig. Pratap Singh Rathore. Himanshu is a wildlife photographer, and his zeal and enthusiasm for nature’s subjects can be seen in the decor of the rooms at the villa and its surroundings nurtured carefully by Deepti and him. Their aim is to make everything that is possible requested by the guest available to him/her.

Pratap Bhawan is located about 12 km away from the airport, 2 km away from the bus station and about 1.5 km away from the railway station in the posh locality of one of Jaipur’s oldest colonies known as C-scheme. One need only ask and C-scheme is readily known to most Jaipurites like the back of their hand.

Pratap Bhawan has 3 large rooms that are rented out per night to guests as per their requirements. A double occupancy typically comes at Rs. 3800 per night and a single occupancy at Rs. 3500 per night, both inclusive of breakfast and taxes. Special rates apply between April to September and December to January.

A host of facilities is available for guests at Pratap Bhawan Homestay. An English breakfast with home-cooked traditional Indian meals are available throughout the day at the home stay. Continental meals are available on request. Room service is made available for tea, coffee and snacks. The rooms have air conditioning with a television and various channels to surf, sit back and relax after a tiring day. A Wi fi internet facility keeps one connected at all times while staying in Jaipur. Laundry service is available with the homestay and there is a masseur on call. One can even avail of yoga sessions if one wants to indulge in some fitness and healthcare while at Pratap Bhawan. There is adequate parking space available at the home stay. A doctor and cab services are just a call away for those who want to avail of them. Dinners can be organised both indoors and outdoors, barbecues can be conducted if the guest wishes to do so. Even baby sitting services are available at the home stay and cultural events can be organised at the guests’ request.

Pratap Bhawan also organises Jaipur city tours for its guests, a day with the photographer for nature lovers and photograph enthusiasts, walking in the bazaars, bird watching trips near jaipur and traditional Rajasthani cookery lessons. Deepti and HImanshu love sharing recipes so the cookery lessons are a delight for them!
